In Loving Memory of Brown Dog’s Once in a Blue - 'Luna'
In early December 2005, we lost our beloved Brown Dog’s Once in a Blue “Luna”. She was a very athletic, muscular, hard charging girl that loved her birds! Luna had perhaps one of the most stellar pedigrees of any chocolate female that included 5 National Amateur Field Trial Champions, 1 Canadian National Field Champion AND Canadian National Amateur Field Champion, and 8 additional American and Canadian Field Champion/Amateur Field Champions, and 4 AKC and NAHRA Master Hunters in the first four generations of her mostly "black Labrador retriever" pedigree. |

Luna was an exceptional hunter, a very caring and loving mother, and a faithful companion and friend. We all miss her very much here at Brown Dog Retrievers.
