Brown Dog's Gamebird Gumbo ("Roux") is our newest dam in our breeding program. She is out of our dam Chili and sired by FC Watermark's Texas Welcome MH. Roux's excellent pedigree features some outstanding dogs, including 2x NAFC FC AFC Ebonstar Lean Mac, FC AFC Gator Point's Sweet Potato Pie (first chocolate female FC), and 2001 National Amateur Finalist FC AFC Kensbridge Darkly Handsome. Roux is 60 lbs with a lean, athletic build. She has three hunting seasons under her belt and has become an excellent gun dog and upland hunter.
